OE was founded in Syria by Dr. Hassan Othman in 1987 as a medical recruiting agency supplying several government and private hospitals in Saudi Arabia

In 1991 OE acquired several Sales & Distr-ibution Agencies in the eastern area of Syria and it was appointed as an exclusive agent for several pharmaceutical companies

In 1993 OE distribution network became the single largest of its kind in the country by expanding into the central areas of Homs, Hama and neighboring cities

By 1994 OE - Sales & Distribution became a sole distribution agency for more than 22 pharmaceutical companies in different regions of Syrian market

In 1999 OE expanded its activities through a new Marketing Office in Damascus specializing in Medical and pharmaceutical marketing

In the same year OE signed a contract with the Indian giant, The Himalaya Drug Co. (Herbal Health Care Worldwide Since 1930), to manufacture and market its products in the region

In 2001 OE-Marketing Office started to promote the Himalaya Drug Co. products in Syria, and had appointed 21 Sales Specialists to promote The Himalaya products in Syrian market

In 2003 OE signed an agreement with Darou Pakhsh Pharmaceutical Mfg Co. - Iran, to market and distribute there products in Syria. DP's Persocaine-E (dental cartridges) has become a market leader among its competitors in Syria

In 2007 OE signed an agreement with 21^st Century Health Care USA to market and distribute their products in Syria.

OE Group is currently in contact with CIMAB - Cuba, to represent, market, and distribute their products in Syria
